This policy explains what personal data Fearny Films collects through this website, why, and what your rights are under UK GDPR.
Who we are
Fearny Films is a videography and photography business based in Merseyside, run by Adam Fearnhead. For anything about your data, email hello@fearnyfilms.co.uk.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect the details you type into the form: your name, email address, the service you are interested in, event date, location, budget and message, and how you found us.
We do not use advertising trackers and do not set cookies. If we measure site visits, we only use cookieless analytics that do not identify you.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and send a quote (legitimate interests, and steps before entering a contract).
- To deliver the work if you book (performance of a contract).
- To keep business records we are required to keep (legal obligation).
We never sell your data or add you to a mailing list without asking.
Who processes it
Enquiries are handled by our website host, Netlify, which stores form submissions on our behalf. Your data may be processed outside the UK under approved safeguards.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted after 12 months. Booking records are kept for 6 years for tax purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how it is used, by emailing us. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
